The young Australian actress is making her debut in a lead role in Disney Channel’s Teen Beach Movie, which premieres on Friday at 8 p.m. Mitchell stars alongside Ross Lynch as McKenzie and Brady, teen surfers who somehow end up in a ‘60s beach-party musical movie called Wet Side Story, where they join in on the film’s song and dance numbers.

Tom Parker to star in UK tour of Grease

Tom Parker, best known for being one fifth of boyband The Wanted, is set to make his theatre debut in a UK tour of Grease. Since the band took a hiatus, Tom has released solo music as a DJ and also competed on The Jump, in which he came third. Now, he’s taking on musical theatre after being cast in the legendary role of Danny Zuko. Further casting has yet to be announced, however, the production will be directed by David Gilmore (Happy Days, Footloose) and choreographed by former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips.
